Step-by-Step Boneless Mutton Handi Recipe

  1. First, heat oil or ghee in a pan. Then ,add onions and saute golden brown
  2. Secondly, Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Mix in the chopped tomatoes, green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook the masala until oil starts to separate from it.
  4. After that, Add the boneless mutton pieces, stirring well to coat the meat in the spices. Cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes to remove any raw smell.
  5. Then Whisk the yogurt until smooth and add it to the handi. Lower the heat, cover the pan, and let the mutton cook slowly until tender. Add water as needed to maintain a rich gravy.
  6. Once the mutton is cooked and the gravy thickens, In the end sprinkle garam masala powder and mix thoroughly.
  7. Cover the handi again and let it simmer for 5 more minutes so all the flavors blend perfectly.
